The 2.5 mph speed is find for most toddlers as they are getting use to there new battery powered cars, but after a few weeks it may seem kind of slow and can get boring especially for the girls that are a little older.  Having the ability to boost it up to 5 mph is a great advantage and will allow the car to get the most use possible for the longest time.

One of the biggest dissapointments is getting a new power wheel to find out that it ability to drive on grass is non-existent.  Different cars perform better on different surfaces, and there are several factors that go into the driveability of vehicls, Size of Batter (Bigger Batter = More Power), Traction Ability (Bigger Tires = Better Traction (Monster Traction Series is the best), Tire Tread and Width (Wider more Rugged = Better Traction), and the Weight of the Battery operated vehicle.
